The Knight Foundation has released a new report that gives detailed information on local, nonprofit news start-ups, and their paths to sustainability. The report profiles eight different organizations and provides “data on how they are generating revenue, engaging users and cultivating donors”.

This is a great post. I think there are a ton of non-profits doing really well right now, which is encouraging.

Also, that illustration is to die for.
